How to say you like or dislike something in Italian

Hi everyone! Today is the 1st of December!! Christmas is coming! 😀 Sorry I’ve not been very present with  new lessons in days, but I’m starting to be really busy with exams.
Today, I want to tell you how to talk about things you like and things you dislike 🙂
I like = Mi piace
I don’t like = Non mi piace
In English, I like is followed by a present continuos, while in Italian we use the verb in its infinitive form. For example:
I like watching tv = Mi piace guardare la tv
I like swimming = Mi piace nuotare
I like listening to music = Mi piace ascoltare la musica
I like reading = Mi piace leggere
I like surfing on the internet = Mi piace navigare in internet
I like walking = Mi piace camminare
I don’t like running = Non mi piace correre
I don’t like writing = Non mi piace scrivere
I don’t like fishing = Non mi piace pescare
I don’t like cooking = Non mi piace cucinare
I don’t like cleaning = Non mi piace pulire
I don’t like waiting = Non mi piace aspettare
Very easy today 🙂 Talk to you soon, a presto!
