Pasquetta è il termine più usato per indicare il giorno dopo la Pasqua, ovvero il lunedì dell’Angelo.
“Pasquetta” is the most used term to refer to the day after Easter Sunday, that is Easter Monday.
Dal punto di vista della religione, si ricorda il giorno in cui l’Angelo incontra le donne che si trovano al sepolcro.
Religion wise, the Church celebrates the meeting between the Angel and the women at the tomb.
Il giorno di Pasquetta è un giorno festivo e gli italiani lo trascorrono generalmente con amici e parenti e si fanno grigliate, pic-nic all’aperto e gite fuori porta.
Easter Monday is public holiday and Italians generally spend the day with family and friends, going out on day trips to the countryside, doing picnics and barbecues.
